Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to the Cutstride Studio website, beta-interest program, support channels, downloads, and related materials (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Beta status and availability
Cutstride is under active development. Joining the beta list does not guarantee access, an invitation, a release date, continued availability, or any particular feature. Beta functionality may be incomplete, changed, suspended, or removed.
Keep independent backups of important source media, project files, and exports. Do not rely on a beta build as the only copy of any content.
Limited website and software license
Subject to these Terms, Cutstride grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the website for its intended purpose.
A desktop release may include an additional end-user license agreement or release-specific terms. Those terms will govern the installed software if they conflict with these website Terms. Unless expressly stated, access to this website does not grant a license to unreleased software, source code, models, branding, or other proprietary materials.
Accounts and communications
If accounts are introduced, you are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
When you opt into beta and release updates, you authorize those communications. You may withdraw that consent at any time. Transactional support and service notices may still be sent when necessary to address your request or administer access.
Your media, content, and outputs
You retain your rights in media and other content you process. You are responsible for having all permissions needed to import, edit, caption, export, or publish that content, including copyright, privacy, publicity, music, and platform rights.
AI-assisted suggestions, captions, framing, titles, and other outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether they are appropriate, lawful, and ready to publish. Cutstride does not guarantee views, engagement, revenue, or platform acceptance.
Prohibited use
You may not use the Services to:
- violate law, another person’s rights, or a platform’s applicable rules;
- process or distribute media you do not have authority to use;
- upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with operation, or evade access controls;
- harass, exploit, impersonate, or create unlawful deceptive content;
- scrape, overload, or automate access in a manner that harms the Services; or
- reverse engineer or bypass technical restrictions except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it.
Third-party services
The Services may link to or interact with third-party services such as Netlify, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, operating-system providers, or download hosts. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of their services.
Planned direct-publishing and cloud features are not represented as currently available. If introduced, provider authorization will use the applicable approved connection method; Cutstride will not ask for your social-network password.
Cutstride rights and feedback
The Services, website design, software, documentation, names, logos, and related materials are owned by Cutstride or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback, you grant Cutstride a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback to develop and improve its products without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your source media.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Cutstride disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device or file.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutstride and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Services.
Cutstride’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Cutstride for the applicable Service during the 12 months before the claim or $100. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or others, respond to unlawful conduct, enforce these Terms, or discontinue a beta or feature. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not subject to a separate written agreement will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Georgia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Cutstride develops. Changes apply prospectively from the posted effective date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through Support or emailed to support@cutstride.studio.
